Uncorrected was referring to Tim Hardaway while the discussion was about Penny

These are college cards, always have been and always will be. Tagging them to pro teams does three bad things:
- Makes the Database look clueless, hurting our credibility.
- Put cards that are not part of the professional team in their listing, invalidating all stats for the team listing and having to scroll through dozens of cards that aren't related in galleries. This also means team collectors cannot use the tools to add all missing cards to their want list since it would add unrelated cards.
- Makes it impossible for college collectors to find the cards they are looking for, while also skewing their stats incorrectly. It also means college collectors cannot use the add all missing cards to wantlist feature as the vast majority of cards are listed incorrectly. Most of the cards they are looking for would not show up.
Also, almost half the basketball players in the set were never drafted by an NBA team. The checklist, for both the 4 sport set and the standalone Classic set, is based on who entered the draft, not who was actually drafted. In 1993, the draft was 50 something people, yet the classic set was 110 cards, minus checklists and flashbacks, it's over 100 people. I can't imagine anyone thinks half the set should be tagged to no team. That's just idiocy, to be brutally honest.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. Billy the undrafted players with no pro team on the back should be listed as the college team.

I have been working with Dan (Vroomed) regarding team identifications. As for the players in this set they should be linked to the team that drafted them. The cards have to say drafted them by to be linked to the pro team. If the card doesn't say this then the card should be linked to the school. As for the undrafted players they should be linked to their school. Rmpaq5 is correct about this point. I will work on this set this weekend making corrections on the above two guidlines.

Here's an idea: college team for all players in this set, then add the pro one too if they were drafted. That way it gets picked up in either search.
Webber = Michigan Wolverines / Orlando Magic (yeah I know he was traded an hour later)
Hardaway = Memphis Tigers / Golden State Warriors
Mashburn = Kentucky Wildcats / Dallas Mavericks
.
.
.
Ashraf Amaya = Southern Illinois Salukis
Mark Bell = Western Kentucky Hilltoppers

To me that makes the most sense, The pic's are of college team stats are College team. Even the whole write up is about College Only 1 line half way thru card does it state who drafted them. This is just my opinion but thats the way I see it.

But if there was no pro team listed on the card, why would you link a pro team? That makes no sense to me. I thought we supposed to document the card, not history...

Just ignore what Admin has requested then. Do whatever.
Everyone has their own opinion, but Admin's is the one that matters on this site. Do it as Admin has requested.
Three freaking pages on a simple question that was answered in the 4th and 5th replies by Ryan and me (me quoting the FAQ - i.e., Admin's rules), and still it's questioned.
If you'e not going to like the answer, don't ask the question.

This is a joke post I hope. So we are to follow blind and not have an opinion. So you have never asked questions on a rule anyway to get clarified? I thought this was a site for collectors? Not for admin and we have to follow
