1993 Leaf Baseball Forum

It looks like the 93 Leaf promo set is missing.  I don't know the full checklist.  You can see some of the cards here:

Also I think the Frank Thomas that is listed as a variation here:

is not actually a base variation but rather one of these promo cards.  You can see the similarities with the others - most easily I think the positioning of the name on the front of the card is closer to the Leaf stamp.

I have been trying to find a checklist for these for a while. The differences are subtle as cropping. One of the other quirks on these is the foil on the Leaf logo has a tendency to be a little flakey. Info on the promo set is not easy to locate at all.

You are right on the Thomas being a Promo and not a VAR according to the SCD 2011.  The difference is the "Franklin" logo on the glove being visible.  It is the only promo that they list as Thomas was the spokesman for Leaf at the time.
