2007 Upper Deck Baseball Forum

I've started two threads (Nov '18 & Mar '19) on the same card over the past four months, and am now reaching out to any Yanks collectors who may help formulate a checklist for this UD team set. Neither I nor others here have been able to find a checklist on the net. Maybe you were at a game where these were given out or sold or you just own one because you're that kind of fan. 

If you can simply post the checklist here or PM me I can take it from there, after someone sets up the set. I'd appreciate it. (And Derek would, too, as he needs a home on TCDB.)

Hi there, I'm not sure if the set you refer to is the same I'm looking at, but it seems like a team set of 2007 Upper Deck dedicated to the NY Yankees.

The design is 100% aligned to the flagship set, except for the players' name on the front of the card, being white instead of silver foil.

I have the following cards

2 - Roger Clemens

3 - Johnny Damon

4 - Hideky Matsui

I don't have access to my collection for about a week, but the card in question is designed like the 2007 Upper Deck set and if I recall correctly is numbered #1 in the set. The links in the first post are inaccessible to me as they are from the previous TCDB url.

No clue what your card is from, but I think the consensus of an unlisted team set makes the most sense.

Anyway, I found a six-card team set on Ebay which "lists" five of the cards - the backs are not shown to confirm card numbers.

And the sales listing also shows this offer card for obtaining the sixth card in the set (and as you can see no player is named).

Saw there were two sealed packs with storage cube on eBay [1, 2]. Obviously no bonus card if it was to be acquired after the fact. I searched around Upper Deck via Internet Archive during 2007-2008, but could not find any specific reference to this team set, bonus card nor details.

Yeah, I'd seen those earlier, too, but was interrupted and didn't get back to it. But that second link refers to a 5-card set (the same five I noted earlier) with an ad card.

Is that sufficient enough to setup a checklist? No mention of a sixth card, but the listing reads as if the seller is counting the sixth card as the ad card.

I think 5 years of research is sufficient to add these now. :)
