I am curious to know if it is possible to find out if a card actually exists. I've been looking for this card 2019 Topps Gypsy Queen - Purple #58 Addison Reed | Trading Card Database (tcdb.com) for sometime now. No one on the database owns it, there is no image posted, there are none available on eBay, COMC, Sportslots, Beckett Marketplace, or Card Barrel. It is a common player so it shouldn't be that hard to find. I am wonderiing if anyone else has encountered a similar dilemma.

I'm still obsessing about this card (2019 Topps Gypsy Queen Purple #58 - Addison Reed). Thanks to tcdbkrn and SunDevilCollection, it was verified that it does exist. I've been able to discern that there have been two sold on Sportlots and one on COMC. There are none on eBay's sold listings that I can find. As I stated in a previous post, nobody on TCDB has it in their collection, the image has not been uploaded, and it is not available from any of the usual places one buys cards. I have three questions: One - does anyone have any idea why a card such as this should be so hard to find? It's not like Addison is a star, or even in demand. Second, has any else had trouble finding a card from this set? Thirdly - and this is my main question, has anyone else ever become obsessed over finding a card like this? I am not an Addison Reed fan, he barely pitched for the Twins, and collecting his cards in particular doesn't interest me at all, but it's just the fact that I can't find this card to complete my 2019 Gypsy Queen Purple Twins set is consuming me!

The fact that he isn't a big name may actually be contributing to why it's harder to find him. People, especially in the current craze, think he wouldn't bring much money so they don't bother to list him for sale.
As to if it's happened to me...yes. Sometime before 1998, I opened a box of 1994-95 Topps Embossed NBA. I was one card short, Micheal Williams. I chased that card until 2016, when I finally bought it on COMC. I even had some idiot on Beckett tell me they had it but it wasn't worth sending it to me, even though I offered to pay for it.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. Cardboard History My COMC New Collection Website: Cardboard History Gallery (Still under construction) Tips on how to make your scans look like the card does in hand (No more washed out, fuzzy scans!):

Suggestion: Write a short note/ email describing the card etc and email it to card shops, particularly in Minnesota.
There is a card shop directory in the site's resources, but to be honest I have found it very outdated. Perhaps it's been updated in the last year or so and is now better. I've never searched for shops on the internet but I'm sure you'll find a few hundred, or thousand.
Just a suggestion. I'll check this week at the 2 shops I visit here in St. Louis.
Good Luck!
