While I agree that the McGwire Olympic card is pretty iconic from this set (and recognized virtually everywhere) I think that the sample cards should be BASE cards only. The subsets each get their own representative cards already, so it seems like a no brainer. With that said, and being a Mets fan, I vote for Doctor K as the sample card! :)

I like the Kirby suggestion. I can support that. He was classier of a person than Clemens or Gooden. Interesting idea of naming someone not so popular but there are far too many to choose from there. Put me down for Kirby. ------------------------------- Happy Trading!

For 1985 Topps, the sample card should be from either the Royals or Cardinals...a World Series team. Try George Brett.
