Buster Posey Forum

I'm posting this in the Buster Posey forum because that's where I was working when I came across this. Also, I'm not hooked up to my scanner, so I don't have images, but I don't need a card identified. I'm pretty sure I know what I have.

COMC lists this card as such. This is the one I have. The only difference in the Razor Signature Series Metal (not listed here) and the Razor Signature Series (listed here already) is the numbering, or so it appears to me. You can see on the COMC link (and the card that I have) that the number is BA-BUP.

If someone was able to find a checklist and get it uploaded, I would appreciate it a million times over. Hopefully it wouldn't prove too difficult to do. I'm not good with locating and uploading checklists yet (haven't done more than three or four for minor league team sets that I had in hand) so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Don't like bumping my own threads, but not sure if anyone saw this, or if it's just a matter of not being able to locate a checklist.

I've been guilty of bumping a thread before.  Here's a freebie.  Sorry, no help though.

I'm a little surprised no one has been able to helop you out on this yet.  Here is the strange thing, that card is definitely numbered differently than the base set.  This leads me to believe that 2008 Razor Signature Series- Metal is not a parallel set.  I am not familiar with this release at all, but do you know if maybe this was an insert set instead of parallel set or maybe even a promo set or completely separate set all together?

Edit:  Sorry, I must have read your post too fast.  Definitely seems that the 2008 Razor Signature Series Metal is a completely seperate release than 2008 Razor Signature Series.  Sorry about that.  I will see if I can find anything resembling a checklist for you.

I went ahead and created the set and uploaded the base checklist.  Honestly, I don't know if the 25 cards is even complete, but you'll at least be able to document the Posey card you have.  I am pretty sure there are some inserts and parallels to this set, but I figured I would at least get the base checklist up.  If someone ends up having a parallel or insert to document, they should be easy enough to add.  

Thanks Shannon; I was out of town on vacation for a few days and still working my way back, so I never got to it.

The 25 card base set has two parallels, Blue and Gold. There is also a 54 card insert autograph Metal set. The autograph set also has a Blue and a Gold version.
