The following individuals were announced as members of this year's class.
Dwight Freeney
Devin Hester
Andre Johnson
Julius Peppers
Patrick Willis
Randy Gradishar
Steve McMichael
This is a good class. I am surprised that Antonio Gates didn't make it. I was hoping that Torry Holt will have been selected. At this rate Aaron Donald will be selected, before Holt.
There is always next year!
(Art Powell wasn't actually selected. I read an incorrect article.)

Always seems like there are SOOOOO many enshrined in the NFL HoF. Lucky if there are 3 or 4 in MLB.
Seems like it waters it down a bit.......

Congrats to all of the honorees! Very happy for Gradishar! I would love to see Ken Anderson, Roger Craig, L.C. Greenwood, Harvey Martin & Lester Hayes make the cut some day. I could rattle off a handful of players from the 60's who should be in as well, but I'll spare you all the rant.

Art Powell isn't in the Hall of Fame, but flunked it. Congrats to Mongo for the induction, and pray for the ALS for him.

They do have over twice the roster size so maybe it's proportionate...

I'm mostly organizing over adding right now.

Yes, twice the roster size and shorter careers creates at least twice as many players in an equivalent time span.

Glad that Willis made it. Had a short career but grew up watching his dominance.

Devin Hester ... Didn't he just return kicks & punts? Mike Alstott used to carry linebackers and free safeties on his back for 10-15 yards after contact, bailed out "Turnover" Trent Dilfer numerous times by being open for screen passes, threw lead blocks for Warrick Dunn & Cadillac Williams, plus hardly ever fumbled - can't even get a vote. I may be biased but where is the love as the Black Eyed Peas used to sing about.
