I saw the best cards of my generation destroyed by creases, soft cornered hysterical edge wear, dragging themselves through the hobby shops at dawn looking for a top loader...

Helton is a must...without McGwire and Sosa and PEDs he would have won multiple MVPs in the early 2000s. Dude had 400+ TBs in back to back years.

I just want to say that it’s absolutely hilarious that Bartolo Con is on the HOF ballot and is still playing in a league in Dubai.

Please note this was written after he got in. I'm no rocket surgeon.
Also...Bartolo has a vote according to the vote tracker...

Beltre and Mauer are definitely yeses for me. Helton from the hold-overs. Utley and Wright had amazing peaks and I think they will eventually get in, but not before Nettles, Grich and Whitaker.

Less than a week until the official announcement. Right now almost half of the ballots are public, and Adrian Beltre, Joe Mauer, and Todd Helton look like pretty safe bets. Billy Wagner is right on the edge (currently at 79.7% - last year his actual was 4.2% less than his public ballot total). Gary Sheffield is at 74.7% and Andruw Jones is at 70.9% meaning they likely wait another year.
