I'll admit, I know little about the Phillies and it seems they kinda came out of nowhere. Is that the case?
On the other hand, I am super familiar with the Astros. A well rounded team that can hit and pitch. They have put it all together at the right time.

I'm originally from Philly but have lived in the Houston area since 1995. I never thought this would happen. Whatever happens, one of my favorite teams is gonna win the World Series.

The #1 seed in the AL vs. the #6 seed in the NL - if you like your David vs. Goliath match-ups, you couldn't have asked for a better result.
I'm rooting for the underdog Phillies, but if the Astros win, I'll be happy for Dusty Baker. No one deserves a championship ring more than him.

As a lifelong Phillies fan, go Phillies!
As a lifelong baseball fan, what is sad to me is the fact that there was a series at the end of the season (when not much mattered to either team) between these 2 teams. I miss the days when it was the novelty of all between the AL team and the NL team (who may have met last in spring training, but that's it). I wish this was the first time they were facing each other this season.

I miss the days when the World Series was a reward for teams that finished well. The Phillies were 3rd place in a 5-team division. I'm not a fan of rewarding mediocrity.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

My main concern is whether to wash the same orange (home) and grey (away) t-shirts I've worn these playoffs. A bit superstitious.
Looking forward to as exciting a series as the 1980 5-game set but with a different ending.
Go 'stros!

As a Nats fan normally I would hate for the Phillies to win the WS However after the last few years of the Astros history I'm going with Philly and HAWPER!
