It is never too late to send me all your vintage cards for safe-keeping!
In all seriousness, I hope everyone weathers the storm and your loved-ones are safe from emotional and physical harm. Seeing what Fiona did on our east coast reminds us all that we never know where disaster will strike next.
Stay safe.

It is worth noting that CSG lies in the path of this storm. I had applied to work there some time ago but relocation efforts fell through and I had to decline. Love the Sarasota area and SW Florida in general, it has a very special place in both mine and my wife's heart.

East Coast of Florida doing rather well, thus far, but worse portion might be in Our overnight as Ian crosses Our Beloved Sunshine State and moves back into the Atlantic Ocean tomorrow. Still likely a powerful Tropical Storm, but We DID NOT have to evacuate Our Space Coast Island, here on The Space Force Base. Biggest concern today was when The TCDB Server was down??

Yes everyone stay safe. I too have great memories of the SW Florida area, having grown up in the Tampa area, and having lived in Bradenton, and working in Sarasota and Venice.. Now living about 50 miles SW of Jaacksonville, we are still expected to get 8-12 inches of rain.. Not good for the little 9 hole golf course I work at.. Guess I'll have some free time to get caught up on my collection. Prayers to those in the path, including Georgia and South Carolina..

The great TCDB 2022 outage may go down in history as the day the mighty powerful TCDB was down for a few hours.
Glad it's back up.

Prayers for everyone's safety in the path of this storm. It is scheduled to hit here this weekend, but die down a lot before getting to VA. I know the actual coast is going to get the much worse end of it, especially down toward Florida and nearby states where the storm is still the strongest.

Ian looks like a scary hurricane. I hope that everyone in Florida is safe. I too have family in Florida.
