It was a really good series! But the Braves were just better in the end. Both teams had some awesome defensive games AND some awesome offensive games. The pitching situation for both teams was something I've never seen before in the WS and made it very interesting. You never knew if it was going to be a 3-4 run game or a 10-15 run game. I really think that the Dodgers would have stomped the Astros and the Red Sox would have stomped the Braves. That is JUST based on the pitching staff for all four teams. I didn't care who won the WS when the Champ Series' ended, but they sucked me into watching parts of every single game. I work at night, so I couldn't watch all of every game, but I watched at least the final half of every game except #5 on Sunday. I run a fantasy NASCAR game, so watching my recording of the race was more important than the baseball game that night. But I wish I had recorded the final 5 innings of that game as HOU stormed back to win 9-5. What a series that was!

I did not imagine the Braves would end up on top. When they lost Acuna and Ozuna I thought they were done. This is why games aren't played on paper. Great ending to a great season. Series was very fun to follow!

This was the series and season fans deserve after last year. Last year when the world series ended, it was the MLB's 951st game played. In 2019, the 951st game played left the Nationals in 4th. Hopefully the CBA doesn't ruin what was just brought back this year.

44 runs scored in the world series. Somewhere Henry Aaron is smiling.

Actually 45 runs were scored. But I did see a meme that says Atlanta won 44 games before the break, 44 games after the break and won the Series in the season's 44th week.

No more pitchers hitting for themselves in the NL after this? Hello, Zack Greinke, who played for an AL team.
