Without bias, I'd say my favorite was 2001 when the Dbacks beat the Yankees to prevent 4 in a row. That series had a lot of great pitching (See the MVPs-two pitchers), which is why it is my favorite that the Braves didn't participate in.

'94...Expos over Cleveland in 7 thrilling games...four no hitters, including one by Jose Canseco.

I'm mostly organizing over adding right now.

I think some people got lost there or just think they forgot something important. There was no WS in 1994 due to the player strike! I can't remember now how many games got played but I don't think they made it to summer before the strike and the season was canceled by what would have been the AS break.

The 1994 All-Star game was won by the National League on a 10th inning walk-off double that score a sliding Tony Gwynn. Very exciting game. Exactly 1 month later, on August 12th, the players went on strike.

I'm a big Royals fan so it may be surprising that I'd vote for the 2014 World Series that they lost to Madison Bumgarner. Somehow getting back to the World Series and winning it the very next year took all the sting out of losing that series.

Thanks for showing me up! I'm kidding!!! I'm grateful that you added the info as I honestly forgot how long the '94 season lasted before the strike. I really thought the season ended earlier than that. But that summer was between my sophmore and junior years of high school and MLB was not a top priority that summer.
However, that summer was also my last attempt to make a baseball team. I clinched the starting spot in Centerfield for the local Pony Little League team until they realized that my 16th birthday was 3 weeks before the cutoff date for that age. The season wouldn't start until after I turned 16. The Colt League had already completed tryouts and I couldn't join that team. So I just stopped trying after that. (BTW, all those rules are completely different now.) It was a crushing blow to any hopes of playing bseball at any level and I never tried out for a team again after that. There really was no point by then and I didn't have the desire anymore. I still hate that I didn't decide to switch to basketball right then. I was good at that too but mostly because I was fast and could jump really high. The basketball players in my gym classes really wanted me to join the team but I wanted to play baseball. By the time that baseball was not in the cards for me, basketball season was months away. Track and Field or Cross-Country was not something I cared about and I didn't really know anything about football then either. I could have tried any of those but I didn't because I had nobody to guide me on what I should attempt to do. It surely would have been great to have a do-over on those last 2 years of high school!

I am heavily biased, but I am always gonna say 2011. The Cardinals rally just to make the playoffs was amazing, the game 5 pitching duel between Carpenter and Halladay was an absolute nail bitter inthe NLDS, and then the game 6 double rally to force game 7 will never be topped for me.

Ok, here's my new bias-filled answer.
2021! BRAVES OVER ASTROS!!!
P.S. If you haven't figured it out by that last sentence, I'm a Braves fan.
