Truly sad. For decades the mail ran like clockwork. For the last two years I get some PWEs showing up in 4 days, others in 4 weeks.

Let's not be too hard on our posties. They have been decimated by the pandemic just like many other areas of business. The majority of them are doing their best and even going the extra mile to make sure our mail gets delivered. When I think of the conditions in this present time, and how many items I mail / have being sent to me, the fact that only 1 has never reached me, I think they are doing a fantastic job (on both sides of the border and across the seas as well).

I hope that it is just the pandemic causing the problems. That's understandable and gives me hope of a return to form eventually. I don't know if that's the only cause of the problems though. Sometimes it seems politicians are just dead set on dismantling the whole thing.

I have to agree with Bruno. I have sent two packages going to Canada about 5 days apart. The second one I sent has been received but the first still in limbo somewhere. I do know at one of my local P.O.s they are short handed and the carriers are pulling double routes just to get mail on time. I used to get my mail by 10 in the morning 11 at the latest. Now im lucky to get it by 5. Every PO has a hiring sign out but it seems nobody wants to work. I hope it changes soon for the better. 8 million jobs listed and 10 million on unemployment should be easy to fill jobs. Let's hope we get back to moral soon

Could be Hurrican Ida related. A lot of NJ and PA were under water. My local PO in NJ is located on a creek that floods frequently.

The pandemic and storms haven't helped...
Here in N.C. starting in 2019 or so, my bills started showing up
7-10 days later than they had since I had them....
Don't think they released the date yet, but stamps (that means everything else) will increase to $.58...

I'll tell you what, Michigan's postal workers are fast. In my experience Florida is ridiculously slow & Texas is pretty bad too.
I shipped from Michigan to Fla with tracking & it got there 2 days early. My trade partner shipped from FL and it was still at the same place he dropped it off two days after it was supposed to arrive in Michigan. Once it arrived in Michigan I had it 24 hours later and that includes two distribution centers.
