I think Honda would be cool
If they were to join I fell like they would use the Civic lol
Also something I think would be cool for Dodge to do would be to bring back the Viper back

NASCAR's rules now say that the car on the track has to be a production vehicle, so Dodge would have to start making the Viper for mass-production again. I don't see them doing that. The Viper was a sweet car, but I just don't think Dodge will make them again. They would likely use the Challenger as the shape and weight would work well for NASCAR templates. The main reason Chevy brought back the Camaro was to put it on the NASCAR tracks as the Corvette just didn't work in NASCAR. It was too expensive to build and had to be weighted to stay on the track at the speeds of the Cup Series. As for Honda, they would definitely use the Civic Sport in NASCAR. It's a nice car that looks really good too. They certainly won't use the Accord.

Nice to see this thread lasting all season, and can't wait for 2022. Even better I will get to see more races next year since USA Network will show them, so I can finally see most of the Xfinity series. Too bad my favorite drive is retiring, but oh well, Michael Annett was starting to get older and I like Xfinity being for younger drivers trying to make their way up to the cup series. Now I'll just have to find a new favorite. I might just do what I do for the cup series and pick a favorite in a race by race basis.

I don't remember whether they used the Charger or the Challenger way back then
I remember in 2012 the only people I can think who ran Dodge was Penske and Robby Gordon

Dodge ran the Charger in Cup and the Challenger in whatever Xfinity was called at the time.

I agree with you Jupiter about the NBCSN races moving to USA Network. I'm happy for that. Unfortunately, I think that will mean that even LESS races will be on NBC national broadcast because they think everyone has USA. Also, where the heck will coverage go from there in a rain delay?! Not a clue now for that scenario. At least USA doesn't have other sports of any kind to jump into immediately (at least until the Summer Olympics come around again).
When I think of Dodge in Cup, I still think of Evernham and Kasey Kahne and that was the Charger. Sorry, but that was the more successful recent team before Dodge left. The Penske drivers at that time retired, failed or went back to Busch/Nationwide/NXS OR went all the way back to Trucks. But Dodge started making the Challenger again in 2008 because they wanted to use it in the Cup Series. I don't know the full story on that before Dodge left NASCAR. Also, Dodge and Chrysler were split up during that time as Daimler came in to save the company from bankruptcy. Later, Fiat joined with Chrysler. Dodge trucks are just RAM now, But the Dodge cars are still being made with the Dodge name. The turmoil of the past 15 years for Dodge cars (not the RAM trucks), just doesn't seem like a move to racing of any kind would be a good move for them.
As for calling the NASCAR Series' by their "name": It took me years to stop saying or typing "Winston Cup Series". It took even longer to stop saying Craftsman Truck Series! The Busch Series to Nationwide Series change didn't take as long as those 2 but I did catch myself calling the NXS the NNS for a couple of years. I'm glad that the Cup Series has dumped a title sponsor and we can just call it the Cup Series or the NCS. No confusion there and it can work for many years to come.

I see NBC doesn't look like it will carry many races next season, and I think the kicker station for NASCAR will be CNBC (which doesn't help me since I don't have it). Thankfully the only current programming that would kick it to CNBC would be WWE and that is only on Monday and Tuesday nights. What does worry me more is the idea they will make more races exclusive to Peacock, with no television broadcasting at all. One or two I am okay with, but if they do more or make major races exclusive then I'll be mad. If I had FS1, I'd be really happy and then I might get into the truck series more, but I just never have. At least the last couple years I've got to see more F1 races thanks to ABC and ESPN coverage (with no commercials, even better), so I'm starting to enjoy them as much if not more than NASCAR. If Indycar's schedule on NBC was better, I'd probably watch more of that too. But it seems like they have a lot of weekends off or maybe a lot of races were on NBCSN, I guess I'll find out next year.
As for calling the series by their name, I do like just calling it the Cup Series but I always liked Winston Cup the best. Same can be said for the Busch Series, but I have starting calling it Xfinity a lot easier now. I've always called the Truck Series the truck series. I liked seeing Craftsman name on the series, but besides Camping World I couldn't name another sponsor.
