It was a bonus treat for me that Hailee Deegan was in the first race that I got to see.
I fear that Hailee, may not have the strength or stamina required to run in the top 10 on a regular basis....
Even at his size, Mark Martin, worked hard on that front, which kept him running with the leaders late in races.....
Have to believe that was a lot of Danica's problem, once she got into the heavier cars.....
With few female drivers over the years, hard to know how well they do with the heat issues that arise, especially in
NASCAR......

It seems Hailey grew bit of a backbone and found some aggression in
the SRX race Saturday Night.....
Not too keen on the amount of dirt tracks the Trucks on running on....
Still wondering why it took them so long to get back to racing after the "second" overtime...
Race took way too long to finish... were they waiting for viewers on the E Coast to tune out and go to bed.....

That was one of the best races I have seen all year, great racing thru the field all day, Tire falloff played a part and comers and goers thru out the field. I was glad to see Kurt tie with Kyle for over all lol.Great race

I liked the race quite a lot, Atlanta is almost always a good race to watch.

Tried watching the FormulaE races out of NY, but the high pitched whine they put out,
gave me a headache and just made the races unwatchable.....

NH is my "home" track. Ok, so my dad was a paramedic at the old Bryar Motorsport Park that NHIS replaced. Used to pend my summers up there. With that said, I am shocked that they started the race the way they did and then calling it with a couple minutes of driving left? I understand the darkness thing, but they drove in worse visibility in Bristol and Texas. Let 'em finish...

That was a stupid call starting when they did, THey should have let Truex and Busch go to back up cars, AS it wasn't their faults 100% NASCARS fault. AS for the finish I am happy for Aric, And his tem. Was great race when they finally waited for rain to stop.

NASCAR can say whatever they want about "it happened so quick", but that is crap. It was already misting when they started the race. I noticed the rain on one of the camera lens' 2 laps before everyone started spinning out. They should have never started that race at that time. Once they did get going again though, it was a really interesting and exciting race. As for going to back-up cars for Busch and Truex, that would not have been possible. Unlike the All-Star Race that they talked about from years ago, today the backup has no engine or transmission in it. It would take hours to swap the engine and tranny to the backup car. What they should have done was let the 18 and 19 teams fix the damage back in the garages during the rain delay. It was clearly NASCAR's fault that they wrecked and got tore up and NASCAR admitted it. But that does nothing for the 2 cars that were leading the race. Not only did NASCAR cost them a bunch of money in repairs, but the also cost them thousands of dollars in winnings. Just Kyle Busch lost thousands of dollars just in the pay difference between first place and last place. That doesn't count anything else. The #18 team lost a ton of money this weekend. I mean they spent a lot to get everyone and everything to the track and earned basically nothing.
Besides the fiasco at the beginning, it was a good race to watch. I don't blame NASCAR for cutting it short by 8 laps either. Darkness was falling fast and you really can't see that on TV with the cameras pointed at the track. The interview with Bell afterwards did show that the sky was really dark behind the grandstands. Don't believe all the hype that Almirola is actually locked into the playoffs just yet. Yes, he got a win, but he still has to stay in the top 30 in the points standings for the win to move him into the playoffs. Also, there are 4 races left in the regular season. If there are 3 new winners in the last 4 races tht are ahead of him in points, he still won't make the playoffs. If there are 4 new winners for the season in the final 4 races, he won't make it and McDowell probably won't either. It would really suck to win the Daytona 500 and still miss the playoffs in the final week of the regular season! It's not likely, but it's possible, especially with how crazy this season has been so far.
How about the first season of SRX though?! I loved it and can't wait for the 2022 season. I hope it continues well past next season. Those races were a LOT of fun to watch. The finale was just as awesome as the previous races, even though Stewart won the points title before the main event started. I hope they can get all the same drivers back next year except for Paul Tracy. He just tears up too much stuff and ruined the night for someone every single week. Otherwise, the racing was fantastic!

Not only do they not have Engines or Trany's, They dont take back up cars to the track except when they Qualify and practise. But yes they should have Let them fix their cars, As for the SRX It wasn't my cup of tea.
