A friend of mine said he went to the local Walmart and saw a guy in the electronics section drinking from a bottle of Hennessey. Next to him was a woman eating an ice cream cone.
I went earlier in the day and saw nothing like that, but I went to get some food. Noticed pretty much all drinks were in stock (even milk), but no potatoes, toilet paper, or a lot of frozen meat (packaged type stuff, lot of ground beef though). My goal was to get in and out, and while some things I wanted was out, I was able to think on the fly and grab stuff to last a couple weeks (all I planned to do anyways).
Now I plan on staying in and away from the insanity (besides maybe a trip to storage), and likely scanning cards and pictures for a few days. Also curious how mail might be disrupted since I have a couple packages arriving this week (one is already late, but I'm patient for now).
Stay safe everyone, and while I'll duck in and out on here daily, I doubt I'll be too active.

UPDATE
Jr no longer has school today LOL ........... as we live in a border city, half in SK and half in AB, the rules are wonky. The province of SK mandates all education in the city, even the schools in Alberta, all private schools and the Catholic and French divisions. So because my sons school is in AB, the government rules trump SK school rules stating it is still safe to attend. LOL a bit of a cluster. Sk government to announce it plans this morning at some point as the universities and colleges basically said yeah we are closing campus and going online only. I'm assuming my son will get a very extended break soon. However his report card came home friday and his mid term average is 99% ................. booyah!!!

Haha ha that's a good one
i for myself ain't doing nothing different for I will not let a virus, the media or the government control every aspect of my life. Everytime I feel sick I drink a hot totty and go to bed next day I feel 100% better
i have never heard of a drunk catching a virus with that being said I better go and drink some more
alchol kills germs so does drinking whisky or beer. A virus is a germ that alcohol can kill. I never been sick with the bird flu or the swine flu and I did nothing different than I am doing today with that said buisness as usual for me

It's getting serious here in New Brunswick after the mega-coffee chain Tim Hortons earlier today announced only take-out,drive-thru and delivery following the immediate closure of their in-store seating service.

Received an unprecedented Briefing today here at PAFB. It is getting real now and social distancing is a thing (hard on this aging soul as I do enjoy hugging and sharing affection with so many of my Family & Friends). Enjoy Your Loved Ones a bunch, these next few weeks. Stay well, get Your rest and when warm & sunny, get outside as much as You can. Be Blessed and Be A Blessing!
Yours in the Journey - Felix

I'm on South Carolina and my son just got word on sunday no school for 2 weeks. My daughter was working in WDW on the college program. We had to pick her up since they are closed until end of month. But guess who has to still go to work. Yup ME. I work for a company that makes TP and adult wipes. So I'm gonna be pretty busy until this blows over. Which in my opinion the media has blown it out of proportion because it's an election year. Who knows when I might get a day off now.
