Cool. Not an easy thing for the organizers.

Nope, it was not easy but I congratulate them for great planning and execution.  They had lots of volunteers to help, entertainment lined up so those showing up early did not have to wait restlessly, color coded bracelets for where you would stand inside the leaf, an alley way cordoned off to turnstiles where you entered the leaf area in order to count how many participants were in the leaf, and plenty of instructions so that no one had excuse to drag their heels. A military operation could not have been run more efficiently (some military planners could probably have used this as a lesson of how to plan and execute).
