Are you people done sending your WHITE WINTER weather our way? If not can you please avoid the Phila area. we would like to put snow blower away in shed and out of garage and get ready for summer veggie garden.
If I wanted to shovel snow up to May I would of moved to Minnesota or Datokas or back to Utah.

Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards

The 2 inches of snow that fell here in NC on Saturday was almost gone by noon on Sunday. But it sure sucked driving home in it Saturday night. The roads weren't the problem (until I got about 2 miles from home), but the snowflakes were so big and falling so hard and fast that I couldn't see more than a dozen feet in front of me. I don't think I've ever seen flakes that big. You know they're big when they splash (visually AND audibly) when they hit. I'm hoping we are done with the snow now. I just saw on the news that the cumulative snow for my area is up to about 18" since late November. That's quite a bit more than normal, which is probably about 8-10" per year.
By the way, the NASCAR races in Martinsville, VA (about 40 miles north of me) got postponed to Monday b/c they got 6 inches of snow Saturday night into Sunday morning. The last time any NASCAR race was postponed for snow was in 1993, 25 years ago. I'm glad I didn't have tickets, but at the same time... The track allowed anyone with a ticket to either of the races to watch both races today at no additional charge. Those who only had Truck Series tickets got an awesome deal! Tickets to the truck race are only $10, but the Cup Series tickets start at $40.

Here in Buffalo, which is right next to Canada, up near 50 degrees. Most snow is melted away, but I live in the area known as the snow belt, so I have a little under a foot to melt away in my yard

I removed the snow blower from the tractor on Sunday. Doubt if there will be any more white stuff coming this way in Belleville. Ready to plow the garden and mow the lawn.
