This card came in a box over the holidays and I can't seem to find it in the Database. Am I looking right over it?

Was just hitting reply when I saw SunDevil's response. Yes, says printed by Leaf (who printed all of Donruss) and says 1987 All-Star Game but issued the year after. There are other years with similar sets, always one year after the All Star Game it highlights.

I went to both years, both only skimmed past Donruss cards, not even thinking about the Leaf/Donruss deal, and went straight to Leaf sets.

It doesn't help that, like you said, the All-Star cards used to come out the year after. Thanks to Topps these days, I'm conditioned to think that the All-Star cards are from the same year as the game...

I always got so many of the Donruss jumbos with the pop ups. Loved those cards. Still do. Minis too. When I went to the shop for supplies recently, I wasnt buying cards, but he got in some 1984 Donruss jumbos and I had to get a pack, plus 2 packs of the Topps stickers with the infamous card backs. He sells those at the pre-priced 25 cents, 30 years later. I love it!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
