I purchased a sealed factory set of 1989 Fleet baseball cards in early 1990. What are the chances that it includes the Ripkin and Treadway variations?

Thanks. I'm probably going to break it open soon and wanted to know in case it had added value sealed with errors.

Did you open your set, yet? have the same set. Can't find a value for it. Was wondering the same as you about the variations of cards

I may have broken a set of those way back just for that purpose, give me a chance to check (if I can find them), I know I did not get the most valuable, whichever that is.

I have a set that I got factory sealed. It has the black box variation. It has all the corrected versions of other cards.

Same here. Factory set I bought last year had all corrected versions in there. Correct me if I 'm wrong, but aren't/weren't most factory sets printed at the end of a run? Usually errors that occured earlier in the print runs are corrected for the factory sets. 84 Donruss, 89 and 90 Donruss and others of that era come to mind.

Yes, I did break it open way back when I posted and found the same as what others have posted.

Not only were they generally printed at the end of the run, but in the case of '80s/early '90s Donruss, the entire factory set often was a variation of the design in some way.
For at least one year (1987 is like this for certain), the backs of the cards were flipped on the factory version.
In 1991, the color border pattern on the front (at least for Series 2) may be different.
I think there was one year (possibly the same set I'm thinking of with "reversed backs") also had the text printed much closer to the border.
I also found via Google this old link that shows some border variations in 1988 and 1990. https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/comment/7070453

I didn't even realize this was a year and a half old thread that was commented on...
