Card Identification Forum

I agree this was from a Christian Athletes Organization which athletes could have made for autographs and handing out.  I have a Cal Eldred one which has a different front design, but the back is nearly identical design/font/layout/etc.  I seem to recall finding the organization website at one point, but I am not finding in a quick look now.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes was big for a long time and used many athletes.

Here is the card I was referring to. It made the TCDB, but maybe because they had a company name to attach to it?

I feel like a few years ago there was a discussion about there on here. I commented about a Chad Curtis card I have of these and got a few comments because of his history. I think he was an Angel then.

Joining this forum jarred my memory today ... a friend game me a Felipe Alou religious card in the early 1970s.  Alou was no longer with the Braves by then, but he was wearing a road Braves uniform, probably from 1968.  I did some digging through my junk today, but just can't find it. Maybe I didn't look hard enough ... no way would I have tossed it.  The card was slightly bigger than a standard Topps card, which made it awkward to handle and store.  The photos below are from EBAY ... the best search would be with the phrase "american tract society".  It seems this is the second Felipe Alou card with the number 52 ... the earlier card had him in a Giants uniform.
