When building a trade I see the checkboxes but...what do they do? It's almost certainly something obvious and I'm just missing it...

I check em in larger transactions for when I've pulled cards from inventory. There may be another function I don't know about.

Cards come from a smoke/pet/Subway-bread/patchouli free home.

This. I check them as I pull them for a trade as well as verifying incoming items from a trade.

They are there simply as a means of being able to track what you've pulled, or as you're unpacking what you were sent. It was requested by the members of the site, so Admin added them.

Ok but they are strictly for our own use? They don’t do anything, per se, on the site? Also a new user and was afraid it would take off or add something to the trade. At first I’d get a proposal of 10 cards for me and 2 back to the other and I wasn’t sure if that was the trade or if I was supposed to click on a certain number back. Thanks for answering obvious questions by new folk. I’ve been other places where it wasn’t so. Randy.

You know what would be even more helpful? Another checkbox that hides/shows checked checkboxes. Would be very helpful when there are more cards in the trade that could fit on the screen (and the cards you are pulling aren't ordered) so I don't have to keep scrolling.
I requested but I don't think it ever got approved to get voted on...

Yep, that's all they are for. Won't affect the transaction at all.
To change the contents, you need to click the "Edit Items" link.

I’ve been a member for over five years and I didn’t know what they were for! Thanks for the explanation. I use them when pulling cards for a trade to identify those that have condition issues so I can tell the other party.

Just saw this thread earlier today. Never used the check boxes before. Working on a trade now and using the check boxes is very helpful. It highlights the card in green and the I know what I have pulled without double checking manually during process, of course I check when I am done to be sure. I also do not have to remember, ok now I still need number 3 and 17 etc. Very cool feature. Please keep asking questions. Somethings are obvious to some while others are oblivious. Thanks

Just found out checks and green highlight go away if you go to another screen and then open it again. LOL
