If you don't have anything constructive to add to a thread from a week ago, it might be best not to say anything at all. I have read much more "stupid" threads on this site than this one.
Almost every social media app has a "dark mode" of some sort these days, and it's becoming more and more common for people to use them for more than just aesthetic purposes. The idea is that it offers less strain on your eyes. Upon the advice of my eye doctor last year, I even dialed back the brightness on my computer screen at work since I stare at it so much.
This was a completely logical topic. Though I think Chuck's solution of a browser extension is best - I'm not sure what goes into giving a website a "dark mode". As mentioned, you can always submit it to the New Feature Tracker. Those are all reviewed by Admin, so if it actually can't be implemented, it won't even be available to vote on. If it can be, it comes up for vote, and gets implemented when it becomes a priority.
The forums have been peaceful and civil for the last few weeks. Maybe it's the holiday season, or maybe it's just one of those stretches where things get quiet before the big quarterly debate over the pricing on this site (wait, that's happening somewhere in the B/S/T forum, isn't it?). Either way, let's keep it this way.
I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.
