Those members with multiple TCDB accounts. Please explain why having more than 1 account has helped your collecting. I've been thinking about it for awhile. Can you trade cards with yourself?
Please help? ~Bob~

The reason was before multiple collections were possible it was the only way to keep them seperated. I still don't mind as it keeps my Edmonton Oiler collection completely seperate from my Ranford and general collection.

It seems like that would get expensive having to pay the postage both ways.

This (mulitple collections) has been discussed in other threads a few months back... Lets see if I can find one.. OH those might have been about how to move cards between collections not about the pros and cons. :(

I guess my next question would be, wait let me explain. I have so many Monster boxes of cards, I would like to catalogue them in a separate account. See,In my Main Account, Main Collection, I would keep my collection and at least 1-3 visible cards on my T/S list + any wants. The other account would maintain the dupes +. . Now does that sound like it would work? What do you do however, if you don't have some cards in the monster boxes [stars, RC etc], go back and remove them? Is there a way of catalogueing them by ex. 5 monster boxes of 1981 Fleer, 3 800 ct boxes of 1981 Donruss and so on. Any help or tricks you use would be very much appreciated. Bruno, hopefully you have some tips, Mr. Organized ! ~Bob~

I dunno if this will be any help but, for my PC I started last year by adding those cards in my main collection. I use the notes field to indicate what box the card is found. For example if I see Box BI-1, that tells me that card is in that box. The BI stands for Base and Inserts.
I plan on adding additional box codes such as SNC for serial numbered cards, REL for relics, and AU for autographed cards.
I also plan on making a second collection of cards available for trades and begin coding them as TR boxes or something like that.

Gunny, that's getting real close to what I want to do. I assume all these NOTES you enter are only visible to you, not anyone else?
