Thanks everyone..
I did tell bobcardz before im having trouble with storage lol.
Its all great info, im sort of leaning towards getting sone storage supplies, starting from scratch listing, sort and store as i go along. Then i can weed out the rest of the stuff i dont want. Should have done that in the first place but jumped in with both feet not thinking.
So when you delete your collection does it delete your trade list too? I have about a 60k trade pile so thats another job in itself listing them..

you can send a message to admin and ask if they can delete collection for you but keep sale/trade intact

Try organizing them by DOB from oldest to youngest. I prefer storing all of my cards in binder pages, regardless of value. I have Jackie Robinson, Ted Williams, and Mickey Mantle all in binder pages. There are binder pages for all card sizes. 5x7's fit into 2-pocket pages very well. 1" binders are $0.99 at Wal-Mart.

I did an overhaul here a little over a year ago. A small amount of my cards were stolen in a break-in. I moved everything I had listed to my sale/trade list. Then started pulling off stuff that I actually wanted to keep, and making sure it was stored separately and marked. Might be a good option when you have a ton of stuff you're ready to let go of but don't want to have to go through the trouble of re-entering everything.

I always seem to be reorganizing my collection often, I am about to start again. I have my main collection; Griffey, Buhner, Largent and Ryan Bader, well organized but my minor PCs and non-PC collection has become a mess. With the main collections I keep them in a 5,000-ct box for my Griffey collection while the Buhner, Largent and Bader are collection are together in a 3,000-ct box. They are broken down by year and then within each year they are broken down by set, which is alphabetized.
I just updated my Largent collection on here and Jay Buhner is next followed by Bader. I am not looking forward to adding my entire Griffey collection, which just topped 1,300 unique cards.
Once those are done I am turning my attention towards my mini-PCs, which is a mess.

My problem too is storage space in the house so i have to condense anyway.
I realised i messed up so i will put a lot of thought into it so i get it right this time round.

You may know this already, but you can add cards directly from the Griffey page, and since you already have them sequential, you could just go down the list and it might be fairly easy. Easier than opening 1300 different set checklists for one card each!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
