Enormous thanks to RonEaston from up in Canada, for PIFfing me a fat pair of envelopes stuffed full of 2007 Bowman Heritage Prospects and topped off with a couple of new Topps Heritage (one, an SP)! Ron proposed a trade a while back which I politely declined due to my being unorganized as well as some health issues that continue to slow me down. Ron helped me anyway, BIG TIME! His kindness overwhelmed me..a good guy, for certain! Ron, if you are listening, reciprocation forthcoming, slow but sure!! 😁

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Well thank you. Been a long time (a month) since I was on TCDB. I have a non-covid ilness making me unable to eat right and lose almost 80lbs since Mid June ( I needed to lose it anyway) It was a learning for you to see how the the trade platformed worked and auto transfered worked
A side effect from OTC pain killers for 15 years Wreched havoc on my stomach and digestive system.

Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards

Huge shout out to my Bears Boy Frump aka Rob, who while residing in the belly of the Packer beast in Wisconsin, timed a PIF perfectly to arrive on the eve of our Bears destruction over the evil Packers empire. 18 hard to find Blackhawk 1990's inserts I needed. I'm so very grateful Rob. GO BEARS!!!!

Always looking for Blackhawk hockey, Notre Dame Football, White Sox and Bears Stuff. I have a plaque in my card room that says, "I could have been a millionaire but my mom threw out my baseball cards". How apropos!!! Collecting Chicago Blackhawks Hockey, Doug Wilson Hockey, Chicago Bears Older, Notre Dame Football in their college jerseys and Chicago White Sox.
