What is your favorite card in your collection? It does not have to be the most $ or the rarest. Just your favorite and why.
Mine is this custom 1956 Topps baseball style Ted Lindsay. I love the design of the 1956 Topps baseball. (sorry 1955 Topps baseball design fans) and the card has Lindsays response to death threats to himself and Howe. My favorite player is Lindsay and a hockey card made with my favorite card design this is hands down my favorite card.

1961 Topps Willie Mays #150. When I was growing up the neighbor kid gave his 1961 Topps cards and this one was included. Mays was my favorite player and when I got back into collecting this was the card I sought out. Of all the cards I had as a kid this one is most memorable. Unfortunately, I do not own that particular copy as my cards disappeared somewhere along the way.

1978 Topps Eddie Murray
I was in my second year of collecting, and in 1985 bought my first Beckett Price Guide Book, and it said it was worth $13.00! Double-digits. I thought I was RICH! *Plus, I was born in Baltimore, so it was no surprise I had it in my collection.

It's really hard to pick out just one and different days make me like some more than others but my prized possession is a 1949 Bowman Robin Roberts graded SGC 2.5. He was my mom's favorite player when she was growing up in Philly and that fandom transferred to me. I found this one raw at a card show in Houston a couple years ago and just got it graded. Can't see getting rid of that one.
Runner up would probably be my 2004 SP Legendary Cuts - Ultimate Swatches #US-HW Honus Wagner. It just seems so cool to me that I own a piece of uniform that Honus wore in a game about 100 years ago.

2 for me...
1st is a 1978 Topps Dale Murphy RC that was given to me by Daddy for Christmas in the 80's. Murph is my favorite player to this day and that was my grail card as a kid. I was fortunate enough to meet Murph as an adult and get that card signed. I have extras that are in better condition but that one holds more meaning to me than any of them.
2nd is a Topps P70 Buster Posey by Blake Jamieson that he personally signed. What makes it special is that on the back, Blake drew Lee County, GA with a star for Leesburg, GA. The significance to that is that it's Buster's hometown as well as being mine.

Someone (can't be bothered looking up who) spent a lifetime in cheap bars bragging they were so good that Gordie Howe could only get an A on his sweater cuz they had the C spoken for.

Has to be 1968 Nolan Ryan. Always wanted one as a kid, and once I started working I bought one.
