Maybe they can just put the 1988s & 1990s back in the stores. There's still plenty of stock of those lying around.

Maybe Panini can get some rights to some South American teams. Plenty of known named players in those leagues. Would like to see some more international league teams, not just U18 or WBC related things. Also not those "fake" teams that are in the Heritage Minor league releases.

I agree, I'd love to see some regular, yearly sets for the various leagues around the Caribbean. Or even just a Caribbean Series set on par with the WBC sets. Heck, if Panini could get a more timely set out for CPBL, I'd love to see that. The league seems to be a couple seasons behind.

An international baseball set would actually be quite cool. Showcase players from around the world. I'm not sure what the specifics of Topps's NPB deal is but maybe you can get NPB players sans logos, KBO, CPBL, Mexican League, Serie Nacional, ABL, maybe some winter leagues, and some Euros (would love to see the Dutch and Italian leagues get some love).

I’m curious how the prospect part is going to work, considering that the minor league is being unionized and that Panini’s deal with the MLBPA ending is apparently what’s driving this shift.
