No, COMC's shipping times are back down to normal. I requested a shipment during the Black Friday weekend free shipping promotion and had the cards in hand before the end of the year.

Agree. Based on two shipments so far, I've received them with 2-3 weeks. Not too bad.

As someone who has several cards listed on COMC, I will point out that they have a $0.50 processing fee for adding a card to the site. So, any card that I sell for less than $0.53 or less, I lose money on (COMC also takes a 5% sales fee once a card sells).
I would agree that because of this, if you shop smart on SportLots, it's a much better place to find cards like what you were looking for as opposed to COMC.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Thanks Tom.
Refresh my memory when Black Friday is? End of November? I am in New Zealand and it is not such a big deal here.
If shipping is faster I may consider them again.

Might be unpopular, but at times Beckett Marketplace isn't so bad. Many of the larger dealers have discount codes (Burbank is 15% for example) and reasonable prices. During certain times of the year the site will offer even larger discounts, 20% off is largest I've seen. While the minimum threshold is higher than SportLots, it's lower than COMC and eBay. And a good portion offer free shipping at reasonable levels (lowest I've seen is free at $20). I've found some good stuff on there that beat out what I could have done at COMC and SportLots. Just offering an alternative example.

Ah - that explains it. Makes sense why for bulk commons may be a better deal sportlots (providing from a single dealer if possible).

I think another factor is the type of cards for which you're looking. Sportlots has been great for finding base cards en masse to complete sets. But for higher end parallels, serial numbered, and vintage stars, I've had much better luck on comc.
