Hi all,
I apologize if this has been asked in the past but I thought I'd try to ask for current opinion.
Where do most folks go to purchase unopened boxes/blasters/etc. of new product?
I've been using Steel City Collectibles since that's all I know but wondering if there was a better place.
Thank you for your time.

Steel City is good. I have used Dave & Adams often and have been pleased with Them. In the past couple of years, I have been mostly buying boxes at My Friend's LCS (Case Busters) in Rockledge, Florida. Always good to consider Your Local Card Store, but sometimes these Bigger Dealers like Steel City and Dave & Adams have better deals because of the sheer bulk & volume of cases that they purchase & sell. Happy December to ALL, on this final Day of November 2022!!
Yours in The Journey - Felix

Hello,
I have been buying off of Mercari. I usually buy older boxes but there are people selling new stuff there also.

Thanks for the advice - I definitely will look outside SCC and compare.
I go to my local card store for individual cards sometimes but their packs/boxes are out-of-control expensive. $12 for a pack of 2022 A&G? $28 for a pack of 2022 Mosaic? Like that. Their vintage card prices seem to be in line with reality though.

The Collector Store in Missouri. They have better prices than most places, great service, and free shipping over $100. Sometimes they have previous years/older sets and cards too. Great sales too like the Black Friday all Month Long that ends today.

Those kind of prices would psyche me out. Doing the numbers of pack cost divided by number of cards in the pack would make me look elsewhere too. Great question and responses on where else to shop, thanks!

I haven't bought a box in 4+ years (more cost effective to just directly buy what you are targeting) and haven't bought a pack since the pandemic started. First it was due to supply then cost. $10+ for a pack of Bowman, nevermind some of the other prices listed here. I found some '22 Score FB at Target, used to be $5, but now $8. No thanks.
I guess I'm of no help to the original question....

I just bought a box from Dave & Adam good quick service and follow up.
I always supported my local store then I moved to Wyoming and the closest store to me is 100 miles away. That being said when I have a Dr. appointment I always make sure I support one of the card dealers there.

I pre-ordered a box of 2022 Allen & Ginter from Giant Sports Cards (https://giantsportscards.com/). Very smooth and reasonable price.
You can read about the break of that box here.

Thanks again for the replies. Since my original post, I've set up accounts on the Collector Store and Dave and Adams.
I'm just waiting for something else to roll around that we want - new Topps Holiday maybe next?
