Does anyone know if the old Topps and OPC baseball sets have all identical fronts/pictures on them? It looks like they do, but I haven't looked at them all. I think I've seen somewhere there are variations on some of them in certain years. Hoping to find some kind of list.

On top of the occasional image variation many OPC sets will have cards with traded or similar statements (Now With...) on them to reflect player movement that Topps didn't get, likely due to timing of the print runs.

Best one is the Gil Hodges 1972 card that has his Deceased date on the front. The 1988 OPC set also has an Expos Delino Deshields RC that Topps does not have in their set.

Thanks for all the info. I might have to do a deep dive to find all the variations. Sounds like they are numerous.

The 1977 OPC set has some variations for both the Jays and Expos..
The Jays pictures for the most part were done in Spring Training for the OPC set.

1977 OPC had different versions of Mike Willis on the Blue Jays - Topps had him on a four person Rookies card (#473) with just a head shot of Willis, while OPC set had a stand alone card for him (#103) (with a full card photo that is different from the Topps head shot).

There were 9 Topps cards in 1977 with 4 players on them where the OPC set the Blue Jays on them as single cards. Also, given the difference in set sizes, the numbers were different as well. Sometimes teams were different too. Here is a snap from my spreadsheet for 1977 Blue Jays.

Ignore the 1 preceding the Topps # - it's a separate column.
