What procedure is best when a Sportlots seller doesn't respond/send a purchase?
Has anyone else experienced this before? I'm wondering if this person lives in TX and can't respond. This is my 4th purchase from this seller and he always reponds within a couple of days.
Thanks, E

I've had a few issues through SportLots before. Every time I have filed a "complaint" with them they have been right on addressing the issue. I've had a couple where it was from a trusted seller and when I filed the seller reached our personnaly and just said "hey, just contact me directly and I'll fix." If it's a selelr you've had no issues with before I'd be willing to extend the benefit of the doubt. You can reach out to SportLots and ask tha tvery question and they may be able to help.

I purchase a fair number of cards from SportLots. Have you sent a message? That is an option prior to filing an issue. In the My Orders tab/ Direct to Customer/ Shipped, the order should show a wrench. Click on that icon and you can send a message. I have had to file an issue a couple of times, but really hate doing that. There are usually reasons for delays and as long as I receive the cards, I'm pretty forgiving.
Hope that helps. Of course if your cards haven't been shipped none of that is applicable.
I'm experiencing a similar situation. I purchased 38 cards from a (new?) dealer back in January. It was 8 days before the order was marked as filled. Yesterday (Friday) was 2 weeks and no cards. Not really a big issue since I'm still having very slow mail delivery. I sent a message yesterday morning asking if there was a tracking number, since given the number of cards that would seem likely. Still no response. Texas was an explanation I had considered.
Good Luck!

Thanks for the responses. I'll give it a couple more days then send the seller a message. If they don't respond, I'll contact Sportlots.

Don't worry, if he doesn't process/ship your order in the 7 days, you're automatically refunded and he will be banned. It happened to me once a few years ago (about at the time I started on that site).

Good to know. I guess I won't have to contact anybody (Hopefully). Tomorrow would be the 7th day. Not a real important order anyway.

Actually, it is 10 days, not 7. My bad.
The customer can click on the "?" icon to ask the seller a question about the order. There is no reason to contact the seller to notify them abour shipping the order because Sportlots is already automatically notifying them that they have order(s) to ship. The seller will have up to 10 days to mark an order shipped. After that time, the order will automatically be adjusted and the customer will get a full refund put into their Sportlots account. The sellers account will also be closed if this occurs.

He might be in the hospital. I've had this happen to me on Ebay. He didn't send the item, didn't respond to messages and he contacted me a couple of months later, saying he was near death in the hospital (I believed him as I had dealt with him before), and this was pre-Covid19. He said he would make the transaction right (and he did) and he asked me to retract my negative feedback (and I did).

My first thought after reading this, was maybe they selected the wrong shipping. But then I was thinking that you never know the situation on the other end. The more money you invested in the purchase the more impatient one can be, I understand. In this current world with the pandemic, everything else seems to be amplified. Health situations, natural disasters, everything. If you had good experiences with the seller in the past, then there probably is some circumstance holding things ups. If you've sent a couple message, then hang on a bit longer. Things seems to work out with good sellers eventually.

I've had great dealings with various sellers on Sportlots, and have had a couple of immediate resolutions to issues - wrong card, and even one where it was a miscut bought more than a month prior to Christmas, and then I discovered it as such into the new year, and the seller still resolved it to my satisfaction.
All that to say that during our current world's issues, I'd say be patient and let Sportlots do it's thing first and I'm certain you'll be refunded if the threshold is passed.
