That's outstanding. Would do that trade 100 times out of 100.

A man has to have goals — for a day, for a lifetime — and that was mine, to have people say, "There goes Ted Williams, the greatest hitter who ever lived."

Mine would be a 1984 donruss Don Mattingly and Darryl Strawberry in the same pack. I know that they're not big big "hits" but I was 13 and that got me excited about collecting cards.

The one that I most remember is a 92-93 Classic 4 Sport Shaq auto. I've had many nice hits over the years, but that one stands out most.

I pulled a Kyle Schwarber black parallel 1/1 from a Topps Archives blaster in Wal-Mart. As a Cubs fan, that one is by far my best pull.

Ha. Mine isn't nearly as good as some of yours.
2008 Topps Adrian Peterson SN1 MEM card: It's a letter from his nameplate in the 2008 Pro Bowl and that's the year he was game MVP. I traded it to a dealer for about $60 worh of cards.

I saw the best cards of my generation destroyed by creases, soft cornered hysterical edge wear, dragging themselves through the hobby shops at dawn looking for a top loader...

I have the worst luck when ripping, don't recall ever doing better than break even on the box/pack price on raw/modern stuff.
