for me it was a han solo 1/1 from a $1.50 pack of 2007 Topps Star Wars 30th Anniversary (cant remember artist) classic picture of him and chewie near the falcon, sold it on ebay for over US$700 which was then used to pay for most of my sons braces

best pull was a Christiano Ronaldo Autograph from last years Topps Finest. Not normally a soccer person but pulled it and was pretty stoked

Sometimes it is about the money. When someone can pull a $100 card and sell or trade it for cards they want, then that's a great pull.
-------------------------------
Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Absolutely! Had I pulled that stinking Bo Jackon 1990 Score, that would be my all-time pull. Now, I used to be part of a group that is now long gone, TLR. I used to get stoked when I would pull cards those guys collected. We didn't really trade, exactly. For the most part if I pulled it and didn't collect it, it was sent to a collector in the group who did collect it. I think the card I was most excited to ever pull was a 1999 Fleer Focus Fred Taylor autograph, or a 2002 SP Authentic Threads Quad of David Carr, Joey Harrington, Rohan Davey, and Patrick Ramsey. I pulled #1/100 and was STOKED MAN! This was something I could trade for a lot of cards. Alas, the card was damaged and it took UD so long to replace it that by the time it came back it wasn't anything special anymore. Dreams of Carr being great had gone into the trash.

MTG:Unlimited Mox Jet. Was beyond excited when I originally ripped it in the early 90s as it was an amazing card then, and remains a very very good card now for players.
Topps Joe Montana Rookie Card (not exactly a pull, but a friend decided he didn't want to collect football any more and gave me all of his cards)
Fleer Ken Griffey Jr Rookie Card (I actually have 2 pulled from packs now)
Spiderman/Venom green hologram (can't remember the exact set/year) as this was one that 5 or 6 of my friends were searching for. I still have this one protected.
Not really that exciting for most of you guys, but I remember those 5 clear as a bell...and I'm getting old

The two cards I remeber getting the most excited about when I got them out of a pack are firstly the Wayne Gretzky Topps rookie card. A local convenience store got hockey cards in that year and I bought as many as I could. It was about the 5th or 6th pack that I got the Gretzky. My second one was from a box of 1985-86 Topps. I pulled two Mario Lemieux rookies, I was over the moon.
I still have the Gretzky and I was able to buy the rest of that set sans Gretzky at a card store in Monroeville,PA. I only have 1 Lemieux left, I gave away the second one to a lady I was trying to get a date with, no luck on that front, oh well good memories.

I have gotten 1/1 from a pack before, such as Stephen Drew printing plate from 2010 Allen & Ginter. I think perhaps that is the only pack pulled 1/1 I have, since I think I bought all the other ones on Ebay or from trades. But was it the most valuable card? I often have a habit of trading pulls at the LCS when I open a box. Ones I can remember doing that with was Steven Stamkos Young Gun (forget what year that was) or more recently a Mike Trout base auto from 2019 Bowman's Best.

Back in 1993 bought 2 packs of SP and ended up pulling Derek. Jeter RC Foil. Probably my best.
2007 Allen & Ginter Mini Bazooka back Ser# 17/25 Misty Rae Turner card# 336.
Might be the best two ive pulled.
