I recently completed a PWE trade between the U.S. and Canada and did not experience any issues. Took 2-3 weeks.
U.S. to Canada - Sent 11/23, Received 12/4
Canada to U.S. - Sent 11/26, Received 12/16

Just did a PWE trade a couple weeks ago and it took maybe a week. No issues. But I have read of others having some.

I had a PWE that took 3 1/2 weeks getting to the US. I had another PWE sent from the US that never arrived. The sender did resend what cards he could a second time to complete the trade.
I even had a package within Canada that took over 3 weeks to arrive.

I mailed 1 jersey card to canada not long ago and 2 post offices wouldnt even let me send it in a PWE. It needed to be in a envelope large enough to have the customs form out on it. It cost $10.50 to send 1 card. I did it because i had agreed to the trade. I was like...wow thats expensive.

Same thing happened to me when I went to send a single card to ranfordfan a few weeks ago. One jersey card, PWE, $10.50 and immediate customs form. She knew, too. "What's in here? Cards?" I was a little shocked she got it so fast that I could only nod before she slapped the customs form in my hand and sent me off to the side.
Like you, no complaints, but I was also taken aback, especially with how quick she was on top of it

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

I've completed two trades and a PIF in the past couple of weeks and everyone got their cards on both sides of the border. Now I do have one within the states that hasn't reached its destination, but we're hoping it's just the Christmas rush and are giving it until after the holidays. I received mine in that case, but he hasn't, but again this is within the US.

There was a warning banner at the top of the Canada Post site last week explaining that they're not able to cope with the seasonal high volume. It is weird to fail that way, because their management justified their losses by the lower volume of items they handle and they must increase postage rates to cover their expenses. The banner seems to be gone now, but domestic mail here is still very slow. I have trades that came from the GTA and took over 10 days to arrive. It seems to be coast to coast, because I know someone in Toronto that had the same problem with a tracked package from Montreal. It was supposed to be delivered by Dec. 10 and two days later, it was still marked "in transit".

I have a trade coming from Tennessee that went to Miami to leave the States as usual, but instead of being directed properly to Montreal or Toronto, USPS sent it to Dallas/Ft. Worth. It departed Texas on Dec. 11, but it is still not marked Arrived in Canada since then. Customs seem to be overloaded and continue to accumulate a backlog.
