I was at my local Walgreens looking at their repack boxes and saw something new. They had a few boxes that said one guaranteed hobby pack, 2 packs and one card. I passed on it due to cash, plus I wasn't sure how much it was. Has anybody tried a box?

About $5 if I recall correctly. I bought one about a year ago.

What was the hobby pack? I could see a Ginter pack but unsure if it was hobby.

I bought a couple of football ones and both had Leaf Draft packs in them. One also had one of those little figurines in it.

I found what you are talking about. 1 card 1 hobby and 2 packs. I picked up 3. All 3 hobbys were 2008 Donruss Extra Edition Elite. 2 2018 topps and 1 silver pack and 3 2018 Allen and Ginters. Not saying it isnt worth it at 8.99 ea. But I doubt I would buy these like I used to pick up the old 75 cards +1 pack boxes.

Yeah, for that price I'll stick with the $5 repack boxes. Did you get any good inserts or hits?

I get the all the time when I know that I am getting a jersey card in them. I know hoe to find the jersey cards in the Walgreens packs. A secret I keep to myself on how to do it. I have also just got the Phillies complete team set in one of those boxes. All an all its worth the $5.00 you pay for it.

I've bought a few of the baseball and football ones. Yes, hobby pack were included, but didn't pull anything special from those. I have gotten a couple AU's or MEM's from the boxes though, but nothing earth shattering (or even keepers for me...).

Nothing to write home about. I did get an auto from one of the Elite packs. But other than that not much.
