I found that when I was entering in my HOF collections (which is done by player), that when I had the cards already sorted by year and company, even though it didn't always completely match the order here, it went pretty quick. Albeit, it was a simple collection, 1 of each card, and I was not trying to enter boatloads of traders (that's a task I have yet to attempt). But if you're doing one of each, as you stated, pre-sorting into year order is a must.
Note - I found that once I hit the early 2000s that there were usually too many cards to continue down the page after page of cards (also, and my colection is quite thin through that stretch), and I found that once I got into those years, using the number filter was a better bet. Again, if you still have a lot through those years, continuing page by page may work better for you. I found I was going through 4 or 5 pages before hitting the next card in my collection (sometimes more!).
Oh oh oh--- This is all completely assuming you're going into your collection and then following these steps:
- Clicking the green "Add/Update" button
- Selecting the sport
- Selecting "Names"
- Selecting the letter of the last name
- Selecting the name of the player you are logging in
- Clicking the "Add/Update" link in the "Cards" section
By doing this, the list you are given at this point has the check boxes and the drop down arrows (like you see if you're doing this by set) where if you click the check box, you add the card to your collection. Have multiple? Use the drop down to "Add Multiple". Detailed Add and Edit Details (if already added) are also available there.
Hope this helps!
