What? You have a baseball card? I thought you only had "adult" stuff.

I prefer #12 myself. That's a real nice looking mitt she has. Yes, MITT. Not a typo.

I set out to get 1 card of every Nolan Ryan card. Now I have:
130 1991 topps #1
129 1992 donruss #166
128 1989 topps #530
With 1,785 different Nolan Ryans my Nolan Ryan collection is now 13,031 total cards. Oh Well I will just keep adding like I done now for the past 4 years

My anomaly would be how MUCH my Cardinals outnumber everything else! In my keepers, STL outnumbers the next closest team by over 5200 cards. Even if you combine keeps and traders for any team, none come closer than 4500 to JUST my STL keeps. You can add 693 to those numbers if I combine keeps and traders of STL cards.
Another surprise would be where the Cubs and Yankees place in my lists. Chicago is #7 in keeps and #4 in traders. NYY is #8 in keeps and #22 in traders! Okay, one more... the Padres are #2 in keeps and #9 in traders. I only collect 1 player from each of those teams.

As my signature notes, for some reason I have 25+ Freddy Garcia cards with no story behind it, however, I’m beginning to think I got them all in a grab box where the guy was a fan of Garcia. Above that it’s pretty normal, as I have a bunch of Marty Brodeur, Patrik Elias and David Wright. But there’s still that over abundance of Garcia.

I don't know why I have so many Freddy Garcia and David Legwand cards.

I could probably list any number of distinctions that have inadvertently transpired in my collection:
- Once an Astro always an Astro, except Nolan Ryan. I actively collect stars that have played for Houston and left, but find it really hard to put post-Houston Ryan cards on my Want List. I'll seek his pre-Houston cards but draw the line. The anomaly is that I don't do that for any other player.
- Baseball is my favorite sport, but football was my first trading card love with 1966 & 1967 Philadelphia cards atop my list, but I have only a handful of them and strictly limit my football collection.
- I have a self-imposed $20 limit on any card purchase. The first time I spent that much was on a Kobe Bryant RC. I don't like Kobe.

I am using my Main Collection as my keepers stuff. As I am re-entering my collection it is no surprise that hockey and soccer dominate the collection. As expected the Penguins have huge lead in the hockey area and Arsenal lead in the soccer area. What surprised me was that as of right now the late not-so-great Chivas USA are 5th in the soccer category.
