Pulled separate from the rest. Every card sleeved and top loaded, duplicates are sleeved and store separate from the Main collection.

Let me pose the question only about a Team PC (for those that collect a team)?

I don't want to sidetrack this but what do you call your cards that you don't call PC cards? I only collect as a hobby so in a way all my cards are PC cards aren't they? I assume personal collection was a term used to describe someone who collects for themselves but also sells. Is that correct?

I use PC to mean Player Collection.

I've always understood it to mean that if a person collects a certain player or team to be that persons PC.

PC stands for both Player Collection and just as equally Personal Collection. I think it also depends on how much trading you do. If you trade often I guess you us it for Personal Collection and the rest of the cards you have are either a general collection or your trading fodder, trade bait.
On the first few trading card forums I visited way back when it was for Personal Collection to let others on the forum know those cards were off limits for trading. FT/FS were also used to indicate "For Trade" and "For Sale". This was vital when posting about your pack pulls and pack ripping/box openings. If you didn't specify anything on a particular card often you would get multiple questions about it until you did make some kind of specific claim on the card.

I collect: Baseball, Football, Hockey, Mostly Vintage pre1980, My Homie teams - Washington/Baltimore Teams Senators (Twins, Rangers), Expos/Nationals, Redskins, Capitals, Bullets/Wizards - HOFers - Non-sport (mostly TV shows and movies). My Trade List is very much a work in progress CaptKirk42s Trading Card Blog Curly W Cards Strive For '65 YouTube klandersen42

Thanks all. That helps me understand PC a little more. It doesn't clear up for me what the original poster was referring to for PC. I myself have complete sets in transition. Many are in boxes but I would like to move them to albums. I suspect I will always have some in both ways. I am working on moving some of my other collections to albums. My oldest Packer cards for one. For baseball I am planning on creating albums of a few of my favorite players from my initial collecting days into albums. I would like to create an album for Gorman Thomas, Cecil Cooper and Ben Oglivie (all in Brewer uniforms). I think if I had to decide on a card for example Ben Oglivie I would probably use a Priotity:
1-To complete Set
2-To complete Team Set
3-My Ben Oglivie Collection
For me on my Ben Oglivie collection I also use that as a hoard, meaning I could never have enough copies of say his 1980 Topps card. They are cheap enough (a common) and since he is one of my childhood favorites I would keep a hundred of that card if I had them.

I do mine all different ways. For instance, my Bucs PC is in 3000 card count boxes, my Lavonte David cards are all in protective cases in white boxes and my Jerry Rice collection is in 2 binders.

To me personally, PC is both Player Collection AND Personal Collection. Either way, it is something I want to keep. It is a Player Collection if I mention them by name (such as Ozzie Smith) and a Personal Collection if only mentioned by team (such as St. Louis Cardinals).
As for collecting sets: I don't really collect them, but if I have a complete one I will keep PC cards in that set and track down duplicates for the PC. The SET isn't complete if I pulled my players or team(s) from it! I always keeps notes for PC items that are in a complete set too. For "team sets" that aren't released that way, I don't keep them all together. The specific players that I have seperated from the rest of my team cards get the "team set" cards. For sets specifically released as a team-set (like Police cards) all stay together and a note goes into the info for each player that has a card in that set.
