I dig these older non-sport cards. Have 7 complete sets (50 each) of tobacco trading cards from the 1930s (heirloom - from my grandmother). 150 actors (1934, 1936, 1938), cars (1934 and 1936 - I think), civil airplanes (1937?) and Kings / Queens of England (1935). Wonderful stories on the back and the artwork is truly neat-o. Wouldn't mind posting them on here but can't seem to figure out the "non-sport" part of this site. I don't see any other cig card sets ... oh drats ... I'm an old klunker.

My wife's grandfather was a professional musician throughout the 50's and into the early 60s. He would tell us great stories of his life in the entertainment industry. One such story involved him smoking an illegal leafy substance with Robert Mitchum backstage in Las Vegas. I could be more explicit, but trying to keep it clean for the kidos.
