It took me over 100 tries, but I finally WON One in late June and I was incredibly impressed by the quality and selection of Stars and Semi-Stars in these LOTS. These Baseball Cards will BLOW You away, should You win one of these LOTS!!

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for your lot and what cards did you get?

Even though We live on a tight Retiree Budget, We are debt free and are rather careful with what We spend Our monies on. This was the one "bucket list" item that I had on my Life List, having been blessed to have experienced so very mucho in my almost 59 years on this Planet. Been trying since October 2019 to win one of these LOTS because I knew exactly how nice these lots would be to own. Problem encountered, was there were TOO many Dealers win multiple LOTS and not giving Us Collectors too much of a chance at winning these fabulous Lots.
Now to answer Your questions. It was a really impressive lot with a 1969 Topps Nolan Ryan, 1968 Johnny Bench RC, 1955 Bowman Willie Mays, 1961 Mickey Mantle, several Ernie Banks, Roberto Clemente, Pete Rose, Joe Morgan and so many others (sorry, most of the high dollar cards are upstairs in the hobby room to avoid any minor flooding from the Tropical Storm going by right now). There are many 1951-1959 cards, plus nice baseball cards from the 1960's. Majority of the baseball cards are in EX-NrMT condition. Fair Market Value is easily between $4,000 - $9,000 for the LOT of 1,000 cards. Paying the average price of $2,000.00, for winning bidders, is a steal of a deal! A LOT can be won between $1,700.00 and $2,200.00 and would still be well worth it for these cards. Hope this helps!!

Like I said before, I was totally BLOWN AWAY by the caliber of the Cards in the LOT that I won. You will attain Baseball Cards between the Years of 1951-1969 that will seriously ENHANCE Your Collection bigtime. Winning one of these LOTS was a Bucket List item for me and it will provide a few fine extras to trade with TCDB Comrades. Hope to complete the Inventory on TCDB of this LOT today and will report the FMV totals and as much detailed information as possible. Plus, I am TIRED of so many Dealers winning these LOTS and would like to see another fine Collector or two win one of these LOTS, especially Someone from Our TCDB Community . . .

Just completed the Inventory of the Rockledge Sports Cards Vintage Baseball LOT that I won back in late June. For the 1,000 Baseball Cards the total Book Value, or Fair Market Value was over $9,000 ($9,120.20) and I won it on eBay for $2,005.00. Thus, it was certainly well worth and likely my final big Baseball Card purchase, while living on a limited Budget. I had to work a side job to attain the monies to win the LOT. It was an effort, on my part, that I had been trying to accomplish since last October. If You want to win one of these LOTS tonight, plan on spending betwee $1,800.00 to $2,200.00, and You just might win one of these glorious Vintage Baseball LOTS. It will be well worth it, if You can beat out the Dealers that show up like wolves for these LOTS . . .

Based on some of the singles on the site that I looked, we have a different definition of "high grade", starting with sharp (not bent) corners.

It's real hard to get why you'd be so insistant on other people buying "LOTS" from someone else. Your posts read like someone selling them on QVC. Not to mention, that's a lot of money to get some random cards. I'd much prefer going to a show and buying exactly what I want for that much money.

He has mentioned several times that Rockledge is where he's helped out (or worked, or whatever) and he's good friends with the guy. Take it for what it's worth.

Fair enough. Still not convinced that $2000 is a good deal for a random assortment of cards. For that much money I need to know what I'm getting up front. I don't drive to a car dealership, plop down $50k and say, "surprise me!"
