The rules:
Participation is limited to the 19 members who answered task 2 correctly (they are listed after the question/task). The first 10 to provide a correct response to Round #3 will move on to Round #4. Your response should only contain links (absolutely no commentary, anything other than links will become an ignored post and will disqualify you). Some question/tasks will require 1 link, some may require as many as 4 links. Read the question/task carefully. Responses will always be links to cards on TCDB. Some of the clues given may force you to go to other websites to do research, but ultimately, the links you provide will be cards here on TCDB. Also, beware copying someone who posts links before you. There is always the possibility that they were incorrect.
Edited responses will be ignored. Responses will simply be reviewed in the order in which they come in. If you think you were incorrect, post a new response. Only your last response will be the one counted. So if you were right and then post an incorrect answer, you will be considered incorrect. All links must be present in a single post (if multiple links are required). If 4 links are required, and you post 2 and accidently hit submit, the next response you post needs to have all 4, not just the other 2.
OK, now that we have that out of the way....
Your third task (formulated by my special assistant this time, CD13!):
In the year that my wonderful wife and I got married (on May 27th - coming up soon), another one of my favorite bands, Dream Theater, released their only EP. This EP contained 1 original song and many covers, songs which were originally done by more of my favorite bands. One of these songs, entitled The Big Medley, was comprised of parts of 6 songs from 6 different bands. The lead guitarist for one of these bands shares a homophonous (Google it, it's a real word) surname with a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame. This player was also a member of an ABA team for 5 seasons. This team had 10 players who wore the uniform number that matches the wedding anniversary we are celebrating this year (in May). Of these 10, only 3 played in the NBA - either before or after their stints in the ABA. One did not appear on any cards, but the other 2 appeared on many cards.
Your task is to post 2 links from cards listed here on TCDB, one card from each of these 2 players (of particular note to me, one of the 2 players appeared on multiple Star Company issues). [Hint #1: Seriously, Google homophonous if you are not familiar with the word! Hint #2: Don't let this task cause Brain Damage.]
