- The #2 Pro-Visions Will Clark insert card was featured on the cover of the September 1991 issue of Sports Card Trader.
- A number of cards in this set can be found with photos slightly cropped due to the use of two different printers in order to maximize production.
- Wax Boxes/Packs were Red and contained 14 Cards and 1 Sticker per pack. Cello Boxes/Packs were Plum/Light Purple and contained 30 cards and 3 Stickers per pack. Jumbo Cello Boxes/Packs were Green and contained 53 cards and 4 Stickers per pack. Rack Boxes/Packs were Blue and contained 42 cards and 3 Stickers per pack. Factory Set boxes were either Blue or Green.
This is the last year that Fleer issued Logo Stickers in their packs. - This is the last year Fleer issued box bottom cards after 6 consecutive years.
- This is the last year Fleer issued the World Series set included in factory sets after 5 consecutive years.
- This is the first year since 1982 that Fleer did not include the Team Logo on the front of the card, ending an 8 year run.
- All-Star Team Inserts (10) were inserted randomly only in Cello and Jumbo Cello Packs.
Black Border Pro Visions Inserts (12) were inserted randomly in wax packs and 1 per Rack Pack.
White Border Pro Visions (4) were only issued with Factory Sets.
World Series Cards (8) were only issued with Factory Sets.
The 10 Box Bottom Cards (9 + checklist) can be found on either wax box bottoms (4 Cards-3 + Team Logo) or on Cello/Jumbo Cello Box Bottoms (6 cards-4 + 2 Team Logo). However, the specific Team Logos were only found on certain box types:

Definitely not my favorite, but it was my first completed set. Rating: 2 | ||
I think every friend I had, and myself received this set for their birthday or Christmas. I loved the pro-vision cards so much that I kept buying packs to get the black bordered ones too. Sadly I was only 8 years old, so had quite the mishap with BBQ sauce while sorting through my cards. Either way the set is nothing special as far as quality, but the nostalgia factor is extremely high for us 40 somethings. Rating: 7.5 | ||
