- The first Topps base set ever to feature a borderless design.
- Topps held a poll on their website and Mike Trout was elected for card #1 by fan vote.
- Card #118 of Jose Fernandez features a quote by Fernandez where he mentions going into starts as if it were the last game he would ever pitch. Jose Fernandez lost his life in a boating accident during the season on September 25, 2016 and pitched his last game on September 20, 2016.
- Addison Russell was named to the 2015 Topps All-Star Rookie Team but his #562 card is missing the trophy designation.
- #326 Kevin Plawecki - UER: In stats, games played in 2013 for Savannah is 451, should be 65
- #463 Boston Red Sox - UER: Xavier on back, should be Xander
- #562 Addison Russell - Addison Russell was named to the 2015 Topps All-Star Rookie Team but his #562 card is missing the trophy designation.

I did see a Sold card from this insert set on COMC.

2016 was the start of the end for Topps baseball cards to me. Incomplete statistics on the card backs demonstrates that Topps no longer respects baseball. That doesn't mean I go to another brand for baseball, because Topps was it, so it's back to bubblegum cards for me. I've already sold off everything from 2012-present so I'm working on getting rid of everything from 2011 back to somewhere between 1991-2001. I don't think I'll ever come back to modern Topps baseball cards again. | ||
Vvvergeer couldn't agree more ! they being Topps screwed this set up with ONLY 50 cards for a 100 years history set ! Like how did they not make a when Wrigley Finally got Lights card ? As a cute 1 of 1 idea a Piece of Glass or Steel from the Lights just saying ! Rating: 7.5 | ||
