Hank Aaron is actually pictured on this card, even though he didn't have a card in this set. Topps reused many team photos for years. I read an article on it not long ago, but haven't found the link yet. |

I've always been amused by these airbrushed and even hand painted cards from the 1977 Topps Set. It's as if they found the fossil of an ancient ball player, then had an artist render what he may have looked like when he once roamed the Earth. |
