These thick (79 pt) cards with fleur-de-lis inspired silver foil border and bold lines on a black low-gloss bleeding edge face makes this a unique set, somewhat of an oddity perhaps.

I like the rookie card design a lot better. The white backdrop and artistic black frame around the photo, and the black banner, is a snappy combination. The silver foil works a lot better here.

Getting a good scan is nearly impossible. It's tough to edit in Photoshop and get a fair reproduction.
