Very nice set for mid-70's. Clean front design, nothing fancy, but easy to read and a continued movement from portrait to action shots. Card backs are well designed to include all player historical information and easy to read on the brown and tan background. This was the second set I put together from the playground when I was a kid. As an adult, I recently completed the master set.

Card #267 was issued as two different checklists (221-330 & 331-396). Card #395 was never issued and should have been the fourth checklist (331-396).

The card companies didn't go overboard for accuracy in 1975-76 or 1976-77. The California Seals dropped the "Golden" from their name after the 1973-74 season but the card companies are still referring to them as 'Golden Seals" is both '75-76 and '76-77.

They also used the Topps checklist for the OPC set in 1975-76, made them bi-lingual and left out half the players, showing only the ones on the Topps checklist.
