2012 Topps
Notes |
Distributed as Series One (#1-330) and Series Two (#331-661). #661 was added to Series Two late in the production run. Most of Series One has header errors where position player cards have doubles represented as "3B", walks represented as "W" and slugging percentage represented as "SP", while pitcher cards have walks represented as "W" and saves represented as "S". These errors were corrected in the factory set and none of them appear in Series Two. These errors are also present, and uncorrected, for the corresponding cards of the various parallels.

There were 90 coins in all, divided into three 30-coin "types": Current Players, Hall of Fame Players, and Teams. One of the 30 coins in each type was designated as "Rare" and the stated odds of finding a Rare Coin was 1:6666/codes.
Collectors who unlock ten of the same coin type would be entered into a drawing to receive one of 30 Ken Griffey, Jr. autographed coin cards. The first 30 who collect all 30 of the same coin type would receive the Willie Mays autographed coin card.
