I casually collected as a kid in the '80s-'90s and buy a pack here and there when I see them in stores today. My interest in collecting was reignited by the '24 Topps Chrome Update frenzy.
My focus is mostly Padres, a little Red Sox ('80s). I am primarily interested in cards with Padres players in a uniform with yellow or orange in it.
Favorite players: Jackson Merrill, Fernando Tatis Jr, Manny Machado, Tony Gwynn, Ken Caminiti, Joe Musgrove, Yu Darvish, Tyler Wade, Xander Boegarts, Dylan Cease, Michael King, Trent Grisham, Wil Myers, Ha Seong Kim, Jurickson Profar, Luis Arraez, Trevor Hoffman, Phil Plantier, Gary Sheffield, Rickey Henderson
Favorite cards: I have a strong sentimental attachment to 1989-1990 Topps and right now I am extra interested in any and all Topps 2024-2025 35th anniversary cards for Padres players. I also love fun Big League inserts and Stadium Club parallels.
Trading Information:
- I prefer to ship PWE unless the quantity of cards or card value warrant BMWT.
- I typically ship in either binder pages, team bags, toploaders or semi-rigids sandwiched in thin cardboards with a non-machineable stamp.
- I am basically trying to turn all of my For Trade list into Padres cards or completed sets. I have very limited storage space and I am not too hung up on value matching or quantity matching for base cards, parallels or inserts - if the trade makes sense and clears out some storage room for me I will do it, even if it looks imbalanced on paper. Don't be shy about making an offer if I have something you want.
- I am typically looking to get either value-for-value or like-for-like on relics, autographs, and serial numbered cards. Mixing and matching these categories (e.g. relic-for-auto) is fine for me if the trade makes sense.
- I am willing to sell and am open to sales offers for special cards, but I prefer to stick to trades mainly.
- I am currently only considering trade offers (no purchase offers) for the non-baseball Allen+Ginter inserts on my wantlist - I collect these for fun with my family.
