In general, I collect:
- The Iowa Hawkeyes in any sport (in Hawkeyes uniform). These are in 12 pocket yellow Z-Folio binders.
- The Boston Celtics (in Boston uniform with Celtics logo; no frankenstein cards).
- Team sets of base cards in green 12 pocket Z-Folio binders.
- Inserts and parallels by player in green 1.5" three ring binders.
- State of Iowa connections. These are in assorted three ring binders.
If a card does not fit into one of the categories above, then I'll list it on eBay if I think it will sell for at least $2.
Otherwise:
For Baseball Cards:
- Complete sets of Topps Flagship in 3 ring binders
- Cleveland Guardians in red 12 pocket Z-Folio binder
- All others in penny sleeves organized by team in 3 row boxes.
For Other Cards:
- if it is a base card or regular insert card, it goes into my 3 row box collection, sorted by sport, year, and brand (in case I decide to build the set at a later date).
- if it is a non-serial numbered parallel base or parallel insert card, it goes into my 12 pocket white Z-Folio binders.
- if it is a duplicate base or insert card, it gets listed for trade on TCDB.
As of January 7, 2025, my TCDB ranking is:
